Salvation or damnation depends on me. I am free to take one or the other way, but it is not in my power to change the outcome (BM35).

From Father Tom: And what will the outcome be? We must (not) grow complacent on that point. All around us people are dying in desperate circumstances and that we can see. But we have no guarantee of doing any better unless we pray and watch all the time
