OF THE DAY
Eccles 3: 1-11
Lk 9: 18-22
Never lose heart. Keep always a healthy optimism recalling that our past experiences are our tutors for the future (VMC 773).
This is particularly important in our time when the Church is falling apart and there are loud cries for the heads of its leaders. Not to worry. That's what happened with Jesus and the apostles. And where are those who persecuted them?
Thought: You are Peter and upon this rock I shall build my church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail upon it. Thank you Jesus Master for the great gift of Your Catholic Church and the Holy Spirit to watch over and guide it always.
