MONTHLY INTENTION

For women all over the world, worried for persons they love, wounded in their human or maternal dignity, blistered in their body and spirit, that they may find comfort in the Sorrowful Virgin "whose heart was pierced by a sword".

Included in these challenges to women's rights and the denial of their equal dignity with men, is their almost universal exploitation as sex-objects--something in reality far worse than the crimes listed.
