Know how to be bearers of joy everywhere--a ray of that joy that the blessed have in Heaven (AAP 1960).
A tall order at any time, but especially in today's grim conditions: economic hardship and--unfortunately--no inclination to seek consolation and encouragement in the Lord. We who have more training in the spiritual should try to make life a little easier for those we meet.
