Jesus was a victim of the truth as His followers were and as the martyrs of all times have bee (RSP 115).
From Father Tom: Nothing seems of less value today than truth in human relations. A few months ago we were bombarded with TV advertising containing such contradictory statements that neither of them could have been true! What happened to "Thou shalt to bear false witness?"
