When a soul abounds in prayer, God abounds in grace, making the soul experience that the yoke of God is easy and His burden light (BM 493).
From Father Tom: Well, yes, of course, but... much depends on what the spiritual state of the soul is: after years of prayer, after years of sin and dissipation, after years of carelessness...the choice is wide.
