A few loaves of bread on one occasion fed five thousand people. The Eucharistic Bread nourishes all those who want to receive It (RSP 150).
From Father Tom: Yes, but with qualification. The five thousand men made no preparation apart from a keep appetite. If we wish to receive the Eucharist just habitually and while making no effort to change our lives...rest assured that they will not change.
