Jesus had some faithful followers virtuous women and among them were the mothers of the apostles(BM 335).
From Father Tom: Interesting, no? I must say I never thought of any of the apostles' relatives as being close to Jesus. What about your relatives (don't mention mine: are they still Cathlolic?!)
