Sanctifying grace is a gift given to Adam. It surpasses all created nature, even the angelic one.  We share int eh power, love and beatitude of God (BM 121).

From Father Tom:  Surpasses the angelic nature? Unusual thought but correct if we see "grace" as in some way = Jesus.
