INTENTION OF THE MONTH: For the consecrated life: Let the religious life of the members be imbued with apostolic spirit, and let all apostolic action be animated by a religious spirit (Perfectae Caritatis, 8--Vatican Decree on the up-to-date renewal of the Religious Life.)

From Father Tom:  A very good idea in itself. Unfortunately the ultraprogressive element in the Church took over, underling "up-to-date" which could mean whatever you wanted it to mean, and the result is visible today for all to see.
