Common life is the union of souls who help each other die mutual sanctification (FSP p. 422).

From Father Tom:  Officially we have no common life but we can to some extent imitate it by reminding ourselves of the members who are rising for early Mass as we are, who are saying invocations during the day as we try to say them, and who have occasional domestic quarrels to settle, etc.
