Our teacher is just one, Jesus Christ. It is not the world. Our Father, St. Paul, followed Him with constant and total dedication until death (SP Feb 1950).

From Father Tom: "The world"? The meaning here is mostly the danger of abandoning religious practices not so much of wild dissipation, but any relaxation can lead us astray, so we continue quietly and persistently on the well-worn path.
