St. Peter and St. Paul worked together, although each one had a particular mission to carry out (SP Dec 1966).

From Father Tom: Well yes, but also no. We recall that Peter was appointed head of the Apostles but he took some time to grasp that converts to the new religion would not have first to become Jews and then Christians.
