MONTHLY INTENTION:

For the Christian Laity: "A perfect model of such a spiritual and apostolic life is the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of the Apostles. While he lived on earth a life common to all, full of family and work concerns, she was always closely united with her Son." (Apostolicam Actuositatem 4).

From Father Tom: In the Pauline Family we take a slightly different view, calling her "Queen," not, however, in the sense that she is distant from our life experience but that she exercises all the virtues of someone of high station.
