Mary's life at Nazareth was one of close union with her Son. These two very holy persons were united in outlook and, together, they sought at every moment the glory of God and the salvation of all people (BM p. 379, p 280).

From Father Tom: We are not (perhaps) "very holy" but that does not mean that we omit prayers of world significance, for example, for the dying unprepared.
