MONTHLY INTENTION: For parents and educators: "It is the role of parents to create in the bosom of the family that atmosphere enlivened by love and devotion towards God and men which favors the well-rounded education of their children in a person and social sense" (Gravissimum Educationis, 3--Vatican 2 on Christian education).

From Father Tom: Is it even possible to do this in today's family conditions, marked by widespread uncertainty about the need for marriage, by marriages breaking up with shocking frequency, and by the media adding its powerful voice to an already corrupt situation?
