In their mutual affection and full collaboration, parents support each other in their trials and sacrifices and give to their children a physically sound formation and a religious education, a materially and spiritually good position (BM 170).

From Father Tom: Not sure about the meaning of that lasat phrase--it seems to say that the children of this sort of training will be sound members of socity. Whatever it means, there is too little of it these days.
