Among the apostolates, the simplest and easiest is the apostolate of prayer (VMC 1137).
True, but we must never limit our apostolate to prayer only. The Founder prayed for 5, 6, and maybe even 7 hours on some days, but he slept five hours at the most and so...he worked for 12! How are the proportions in my life...and in yours? Action without prayer...much ado about nothing. Prayer without action...can be a copout.
