SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
First Sunday of the month--the Divine Master, Way, Truth and Life
Is 11: 1-10

Matt 3: 1-12
Your predominant passion should be holiness. Your predominant through should be sanctity (VMC 692).
The reference, of course, is to life in the convent or monastery. And yet we must try to get our priorities right even in the stress and strain of everyday living. A helpful thought might be that "sanctity" basically means doing the right thing in the right way at the right time--whatever the "thing" might be. No need of anything extraordinary.
