The apostle is a soul full of faith, a soul that wants to sanctify, that loves prayer and communicates doctrine, morals and liturgy to others. To give a book that teaches about sanctity and not to be saintly does not make sense (FSP 51, p 227).

From Father Tom: Well, yes, but be merciful, dear Father. Very few of us had special graces such as you had so we accept our mediocrity in humility.
