Everything that God does is for our good and our physical and moral pains can be transformed into great gain for heaven (BM p. 204).
From Father Tom: Hardly needs a comment, but requires faith when the pain is long-drawn our or very severe. In those circumstances we might remind ourselves that heaven lasts a lot longer.
