Let the apostolate be an exercise of charity and a work of mercy (RP 15)

From Father Tom: Perhaps we tend to think of our apostolate as a work of enlightenment of orientation. And it is. Indeed, far more so than material charity which helps the body but does little to help the mind and conscience.
