The glory of Solomon spread to far countries but such greatness made him forget the Lord and his law (LS 104).

From Father Tom: Nothing new, really. Our world today is full of "Solomons: desperate about their world-wide fame, yearning for the roar of the crowd, torn with envy and jealousy...and even we people can be trapped into this dreadful mistake. Ask yourself today: How exactly do I measure my work for the Church? Numbers reached?
