The kingdom of Jesus Christ is a kingdom of righteousness, and people must give Him the homage of their wills: accepting his precepts (BM, p. 695.)
FROM FATHER TOM: The human will marks us off from the animals - or it should. And it does whenever we persevere in a useful but boring task. From that point of view, perhaps we are less like the animals than we sometimes think!
