WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 23
For some time deep and peaceful meditation regarding the Last Things has been lacking and this explains a lot of things. There are still too many words, too many thoughts that do not conform to "religion" and the religious life (RSP, p. 18).
FROM FATHER TOM: Clearly, words addressed to a particular situation . . . or are they? Are we not all non-conformists when life is good and we are enjoying it?
