As a young girl and then a young woman, the Virgin allowed herself to be guided by God in everything and God, not encountering any resistance, was able to make her the worthy mother of the Incarnate Word, the Co-Redempdrix and the Queen of Apostles (BM, p. 362).

FROM FATHER TOM:"Resistance" here does not mean only "sin" but also the ready obedience to whatever we think God wants. Clearly, this is more difficult to judge, and to avoid waste of time, we should refer the problem to our spiritual director or someone whose judgement we trust.
