ST THOMAS A BECKET
The liturgy makes souls ready for a more close contemplation of the life of Jesus, for greater penetration of the mysteries of faith, for a greater desire to be holy (BM 322).
FROM FATHER TOM: The problem, however, is to find well-prepared liturgies outside of the Religious Orders who have the time to prepare. The Sunday Mass is the supreme liturgy but how can one poor priest give us that five times during the weekend?
