Sport a smile, bear with patience what causes some disturbance, create peace, always say a word that reconciles, sacrifice a little by finding occasions to do some good: all this means goodness (FSP 56, pp. 2925-293).
FROM FATHER TOM: All rather obvious - though certainly rare. However, it should have included firm action against evil. The "meek and mild" Christ is also shown as lashing the sellers in the Temple because they were exploiting the people.
