When we love to the point of willingly accepting sacrifice, this means that wew are truly with God (BM p. 388).
From Father Tom: "Willingly accepting sacrifice". Yes, and we should practice saying "Thank you, Jesus", when the going gets rough. In fact every sacrifice is a way of avoiding a far bigger sacrifice in eternity.
