First Friday of the Month --the Sacred Heart.
Jer 26: 1-9
Mt 13: 54-58
"Is he not the son of the carpenter?" That's what they said when Jesus appeared in the synagogue. But He was the Redeemer Who had come on earth from heaven to save humanity. (RSP 238).
Here we have a classic example of what we speak about in the July literature: envy. How much heart-searching and heart-burning it has caused! How difficult it is to concentrate on our gifts and not be overly concerned about other people! Let's begin today...and never stop!

The person who makes himself holy will make others holy-- the Curate of Ars whose Feast we celebrate today is an illustrious example (RSP 150).
That seems to say it all. To say it all. But hte problem is to be or to do.
