When a soul is dead to self and to every pleasure she enters into intimacy with God (BM 349).

From Father Tom: Certainly rather high-class holiness - the Founder, perhaps, and Bl. Giaccardo.  Let's at least "kill" some of our defects and, better still, add on some good actions. No time like the present (the past is...passed; the future...hasn't come yet!)
