When one's charity is ardent, everything seems light, one does everything seems light, one does everything willingly and with promptness whatever may be proposed (FSP 32, p. 434).

From Father Tom:  "Ardent charity!" How we wish we had at least a little! But the reality is that the enthusiasm of youth dims quickly, and what in the beginning was a joy becomes a penance. Fortunately there are fewer problems than we think: just do what has to be done and leave the rest to God!
