Heb 10: 19-25

Mk 4: 21-25

Let prayer precede, accompany and follow our apostolate. that it be full of fruits of eternal life, first for ourselves and then for others (FSP 29, p. 50).

From Father Tom:  This is one of those maxims that we know from our earliest days and even in a sense wish would go away! In our better moments we fully agree with it. Ah, yes! Prayer--that's the secret! But as our technical or other activity comes up against road-blocks, our view changes: Prayer? Oh sure. How stupid can we get?
