The priesthood is like a high mountain being climbed by those whose hands are clean and whose hearts are pure: it is the greatest dignity on earth (BM, p 489).

From Father Tom:  The greatest dignity on earth? Yes, because at the instant of CONSECRATION,  the priest IS Jesus pronouncing the words. Does your priest celebrate as if he were keenly aware of this? Yes? God bless him. No? Pray for him--and for all the other priests.
