Cordiality makes for pleasing relations, but it supposes a habit of benevolent thoughts in our minds (BM, p. 101).
From Father Tom: "A habit of benevolent thought:--that's not as easy to wear as our religious habit and we can lose it even more quickly. Perhaps we should just do the right thing and leave the bene-volence to those who have just ended a great and "spirit-filled" lunch!
