Our Institute members should try to progress in such as way as to have positions of responsibility in society or in the Church and so be able to do more good-- try to do good (VMC 142).
An interesting statement and part of the Founder's various writings on his "secular" Institutes (we recall that the Vatican approved them as "aggregated" but sometimes his pen slipped...).
I think among us even now there are one or two examples of this happening. Deo gratias!
