The word "educate" derives from the Latin "e" or "ex" meaning "out of" and "ducere" to lead, so it really involves enabling the individual to "draw out" what is useful from his store of talent and information (VMC176).
So each of us is a potential Saint-- or the opposite. The trick is to help those we meet find what is good in them and make that into a life project.
