Today's education--including religious education--tends to lack a hard core: there is not enough challenge to a life of sacrifice (VMC 186).
The Founder was writing in 1934. But today he could write the same words--in capitals. And so, trying to lead an easy life and ignore sin...the world has brought all the houses of cards down over its head!
