Humility of heart leads us to a continual disposition to receive the grace of God (APD, 1957).
Or we might say that with humility comes a greater trust in God's plans for us--which are invariably better than our own. So we take events and people as they come and behind each one have no problem in spotting the Lord with a special gift for us.
