OF THE DAY
1 Kgs 17: 7-16
Ps 4
Mt 5: 13-16
Love Saint Paul as our father. Get from him his ideas by reading about his life, his letters and meditating on them until they become our way of talking, writing and our manner of reasoning (FSP 55, 388).
From Father Tom: Now here we have a much more relevant quote from the Founder: St. Paul is our father and if we get to know him well by reading his Letters (my favorite is Galatians where he describes how he lashed out at Peter), they can certainly inspire us. What is less helpful with the Letters is St. Paul's habit of quoting a relevant parallel in the midst of a discussion. But, that's the way he is!
Please Pray For Our Deceased: Sr. M. Celeste Falletti PD (1980)--Sr. M. Giovanna Zannoni PD (1996)--Sr. M. Teresa Orgas FSP (2000)--Sr. Casimira Golin FSP (2002)--Sr. Mary Grace Lopes PD (2008)--Sr. M. Gabriella Cambielli FSP (2009)--Sr. Elisea Scarpa FSP (2010)
