We are not Paulines if we don't have a big heart, a broad mind to think of all men, and not even do we have the spirit of Jesus Christ who came to give hiss life for all (RSP 563).

From Father Tom: This quote really hits where it hurts. How many would claim to have "a big heart, a broad mind"? Broadness, perhaps, but not in the mind. Size, yes, but not in the heart. Is it not true that we concentrate on the US and tend to let the world go by perhaps without even praying for the millions living peaceably but all too often in debatable moral circumstances?
