Holy Spirit, suggestor esto!! be our prompter so that we donot deviate in our thoughts, and all that we do and say be prompted by You (APD 163, 12).

From Father Tom: Holy spirit, be our prompter--i.e., put the right words in our mouths. Speech is the area of our lives most difficult to control, and we all have to blush as we think of the foolish--not to say, sinful--things we said. St. James remarks that hte person who has learned to control his/her tongue is "perfect at every point."  As I frequently have said, our holy founder had made enviable progress on this point.
