There are those who picture Saint Paul in this way: as looking at the geographical panorama of the pagan world, his soul stretching out day and night to all men to communicate to all the holy ardor that consumes him and transforms him into Jesus Christ (AE 350).

From Father Tom: A very nice and dramatic picture of St. Paul--reminds you perhaps of your early days as a Professed..."Now I can influence millions!" True, but even the Master had limited external effect; Paul ended his days in Rome, disheartened by one negative report after another...Do you (and I!) expect something different?
