From the heart of Mary, as from an ardent thurible, a continuous incense of prayer was rising up to God (BM 378).
From Father Tom: Nice comparison here: a continuous incense of prayer rises up from the heart of Mary. We would not make such a claim, but hat does not mean that NO prayer we say has efficacy--visible results or not. The main thing is to pray ("like a devil" as the Italian joke goes!) and leave the results to Mary and her Son.
