Saint Paul is for us a perfect teacher of sanctification. Attachment to our ideas, caprices, likes or wants are impediments to real sanctity (SP 1963).

From Father Tom: Attachment to our ideas...Yes, harmful if our ideas are erroneous. But very helpful if they are right--and especially in the crazy times in which we live when the sound basis of human society is being undermined by the "gay" mentality (what a misnomer!) and oriented in a ludicrously wrong direction. Let's think for ourselves, not follow the headlines.
